i have 2 devices registered which we no longer have but can't delete them, i have signed into the anywhere website and gone to devices but all it lets me do is rename.

I believe that when you use a new device, it will ask you which old device you want to replace.
I tried using my tablet this morning but a notification came up saying wait until 1/3/18, my old device was last added in december
If you wait here, it takes around a week, you can ask for an extra device change.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with Sky Sports.
I've resynchronised your subscriptions to try and clear this error. Could you re-register your devices to see if it works?
Have same device management issue, had to uninstall Sky Sports app as geo-location was not working & despite also then un/reinstalling Virgin Go I am getting error message about too many devices though only one registered, please reset.
