Concurrent Palyback Error

I am trying to watch BT Sport 2, Ac Milan V Arsenal, using TV on the Go. after about 5 mins I got a 'Concurrent Playback error'. I have checked all other family members and I am the only one watching. Windows 10,, IE11. Can you please help me?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing some problems trying to watch sport on TV GO.

 

Are you using the Online or App version of TV GO?

 

If online version:

What OS is your PC/Laptop running?

What browser are you using and which version is it?

What version of Flash Player are you using?

Do you get anything different if trying another browser?

What is the full error message you are getting?

If app version:

What is the make and model of your device?

What OS is the device running?

Have you used the app on this or any other devices previously?

What is the full error message you are getting?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and replying. The answers to some of your questions are actually contained in my post but I will repeat them for you here.

1. What OS is your PC/Laptop running?

Windows 10

2. What browser are you using and which version is it?

Internet Explorer 11

3. What version of Flash Player are you using?

29.0.0.113
 

4. Do you get anything different if trying another browser?

No, I tried Google Chrome and IE 11 the error message was the same

5. What is the full error message you are getting

"Concurrent Playback Error. You have exceeded the amount of devices that you are authorised to watch this service with" or something very similar. I was trying to watch live football on BT Sport at the time.

Today I have again tried to watch live TV, this time I tried BT Sport and Gold channels. In both cases, on both browsers, IE11 and Google Chrome, I received error message:

"Video is not available. Sorry, this video is only available if you are connected to your Virgin Media broadband connection."

I thought that one of the highlights of TVGo was that you could watch tv away from the home?

The error occurs with every channel I try and watch. Please see the attached screen shot.

Hi Gary,

 

Thanks for the screenshot. This error usually occurs when trying to stream a channel via 3G/4G that is only authorised to stream via WiFi.

 

How is your device connected when the message appears?

When I get the error message I am connected via wifi, NOT through 3g or 4g.
