Child accessing my virgin tv

Hi all,

Happy Virgin Customer with daughter at UNI.

For her to watch Virgin TV will she need to sign in using the main account user and pass?

If the answer is yes then Virgin need to address this to allow the main account to allow a secondary (family members account) to be able to login

TIA

Re: Child accessing my virgin tv

To use the TV Go and Sky apps, yes the primary username and password are required. They are 'sticky', so don't need to be entered everytime the apps are used - but do expire periodically.

This is because the apps aren't designed to be replacements for Virgin TV at an address, but are companions for use when you're temporarily away from home.

Remember she'll also need a TV Licence https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-need-one/for-your-home/students-aud1
