Cannot set shoes to record using app anymore

Hoping someone can help-I used to always set recordings remotely using the Virgin Media TV app. Never had any issues. 

Now however it won’t work, after I press ‘Record’ on the programme guide, it tries to process and then I get a message saying ‘Request failed, please make sure your Digital + box is on or in standby mode (power usage should be set to High in the settings on your Digital + box)’

My box is definitely either on fully or in standby when I get this message. I’ve gone into the settings but can’t seem to find anything about power usage. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but I’m still getting the error message. 

Can anyone shed any light on this issue please?

there is a power setting in the help menu, I have mine set to middle one, Have you checked or played with those.  Settings/device

I found the standby power settings and they’re already set to high. So I’m at a loss!

I'm sorry to hear you're getting some issues with the app all of a sudden. 

 

Can you confirm the device you're using is all up to date, as well as the app having the latest update?

 

Have you been able to test the app on a different device?
