Access to Sky Sports via Virgin Media

Hi

I would like to access Sky Sport when I am away from home. I get Sky Sport via my VirginTIVO box but would like to get it on my mobile phone so that I can watch live games etc. Can I do this? I have a Virgin Media user name and password but have not used a Sky one for many years so I am not sure what that would be. Many thanks

Thanks but I still can't access the channels as my user name/password is not being recognised. Is there a helpline number that I can call to sort out this issue. Thanks

You're definitely picking the Virgin Media login option, and not the main Sky iD login?

Can you sign in to the separate TV Go app OK?

yes I did, using my virgin email user name and password

I then tried to set ups sky id but I am now blocked from trying again as the screen says that my subscription doesn't allow me watch the programme

You shouldn't use a Sky iD. That's only for Sky customers.

What device are you using?

Hi ChrisMOC,

The easiest way is to uninstall the app and then download it again.

Press and hold the home screen icon for the Sky Sports app.

Lift up your finger when the icon begins to wiggle. A red “X” appears in the upper left corner of the icon.

Tap the red “X.”

Tap “Delete” to permanently delete the Sky Sports app and all of its associated data from your iPhone.

Press the iphone's home button to stop any other apps wiggling.

Then download it again from the app store.

Then sign below the blue sign in button as per the screen shot below.

(Make sure you don't fill in the email or username and password above that blue log in button.)
