Hi there. Am I missing something simple - I cant find how to limit my child's access to the internet at night. I know I can always just take the device from them but I'd really like to block the device too.
I have tried to set up MAC filtering and also setting a DHCP rule with IP/Port filtering but my router just hangs and doesn't make the changes to the settings.
The Admin/Info section of the dashboard doesn't give me any information about the device, it just says hardware and software version 'No such object'. The router is a hub 3.
Do I just have to go old school here and check under the bed for devices?!

Thanks for your post and for reaching out to the Community Forums, MattC4,
SCA1972's link is very helpful and also for the hub 3 we do have the Connect App, which has a timeout feature: https://www.virginmedia.com/shop/virgin-media-connect-app

This topic crops up here quite regularly, see this thread for suggestions:

I think setting up “screen time” rules on devices is probably the best solution as it requires no additional hardware and has no additional costs.
