I referred a friend and received a verification email as did my friend with the link. He followed the link but has not received his £50 and nor have I. I telephoned virgin and spoke to several people who said there is no record of a refer a friend. My friend has his bill summary which shows refer a friend credit has been added but no-one seems to want to listen. I have lost all faith in Virgin after being with them for many years and have terminated my account. I would still like to know why there is no record when clearly my friend has written confirmation? I went through the same thing 7 years ago and it took 5 months to resolve.
