Re: Child safe not blocking

To  confirm use of Virgin Media DNS consider trying the following:

  • in your favoured web browser, go to https://www.dnsleaktest.com/
  • read the privacy statement and if you are happy to proceed then select Standard test
  • if Virgin Media is listed as the ISP in the test result then you are using their DNS and Web Safe should be working

Re: Child safe not blocking

Your DNS isn't resolving properly if your laptop says your DNS server is 192.168.0.1.  Have a look at this: https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/QuickStart-set-up-and/Green-light-flashing/td-p/3562660.  Try calling 150 and tell them your DNS isn't resolving properly.

With the SH2/SH2ac the DNS by DHCP is 192.168.0.1 which will forward to the VM DNS 194.168.4.100 and 194.168.8.100 the SH1/hub3 I believe forward by DHCP the VM DNS 194.168.4.100 and 194.168.8.100.
