Samsung smart remote and new stream box

Has anyone managed to get the Samsung smart remote to work with the Virgin stream box?

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your Samsung Smart remote and the Stream box. 

Although the problem listed if for a 360 box, can you please try the steps suggested here to attempt to resolve the issue? The original poster did have success and has now been able to connect.

Sorry to hear you're still unable to pair your Samsung smart remote with our stream box.  Have you already tried the Samsung Support?  Another option you may wish to consider would be our partners at Gadget Rescue.  You can find out more here.  Please do update us.

I should maybe ask Samsung.  Seeing as the pairing is done through the TV, basically they need to add the virgin stream box to their list of devices.
