My account number has just changed after a phone call to activate my stream box. There was an error CS1011, because it should have been activated by 25.01.25. It is complicated because that contract was cancelled and replaced by another which sent a second box (which didn’t arrive as I had contacted virgin media on this forum). The contract I am changing to has my account number that I have had since virgin media started, and this number is different to the number that I have been given today.
I don’t understand why this has happened and what the consequences are. Please can you explain what has happened. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
