Is there any way you can change your regional BBC 1 channel on stream, I am covered by 2 areas and the default is East Midlands but would prefer York's and Lincs

Any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately, just as with Cable TV, VM are still governed by the area franchising rules that cable was built under in this country.

Stream is driven from the area local headend, which in your case is Nottingham & is an East Midlands franchise. With cable TV an extra set of channels is available for Yorks & Lincs overlap zones, but I’m not sure this extends to Stream. You can certainly change the BBC iPlayer region in the app settings menu to any region you want.
