On our wavelength
Hi there,
 
I'm currently on 1 gig package using superhub 5 in router mode. 
I have to re-boot router every 2- 3 days as the speed degrades followed by bad latency and jitter.
Reboot is the only thing that fixes it for 2-3 days. All my connections are tight, factory re-seted the router, however the pre and post errors are climbing up as it can be seen below. Do I need an engineer to fix this?

How has your connection been over the past few days? I have checked remotely and all power/signal levels do look fine at the minute. Please do provide us with an update and we'll investigate further if the issue is still ongoing 🙂

Pre RS Errors and Post RS Errors are climbing up. This is in 1 day and 15hrs uptime. By day 3 i will have to reboot as the line becomes very poor to unusable. The power levels might be right, however all these errors are definitely not.

Is there anything you can help?

Line it's particularly bad this evening, wan is cutting off as there is noise on the line. prime video and netflix keeps loading.

if you take a look on the stats from the hub 5 you can see why and see all the errors and the T3's on the upload side. 

I need this sorted it out permanently. I'm tired of being told that my power levels are fine. This is clearly not a power related issue!

If my area is ok congestion wise with no open faults, I need an engineer to investigate the cabling from the cab all the way into my property, and if a re-pull is required to fix this madness, so be it. (I tried calling and explaining to your off-shore calling center earlier on, but they would not understand and kept telling me to reset the router, change my Wi-Fi channels and uninstall my antivirus! so I'm not calling them again as it's a waste of time.)

doesnt look great but do you have a BQM running as additional evidence? If not - set on up as per this...

If you haven’t already, set up a free, secure and “offlsite” - “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph”. Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then, click generate. Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see. On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon) In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK

Looking into the live BQM, there doesn't appear to be too much latency - barring two larger spikes at around 7pm and then 3:30am - with a big spike of packet loss at around 3am. 

How has the connection performed since your post on the Saturday?

prior to this I had over 15 thousand Pre RS Errors on almost each downstream channel and Post RS Errors were on their hundreds. I have not touched the line a lot all these days as I was out working most of the time. However it was slow and sluggish. Can we take a look on all these errors please.

they are already creeping up since 2 this morning when the modem rebooted by itself. Please don't tell me this is normal?

I have checked the systems again at our side and cannot see any issues that might be causing this issue. Sam knows also shows no issue with disconnections and speeds to the router. I also cannot see your BQM graph. Please ensure you are in router mode for us to run full checks at our side.
