Have you done a full reboot of your hub?

What are your power levels and SNR looking like?

Re: i was quite happy with 75mb, but i'm not even getting 75 now with Vivid 100 [wired]

Yeah, I meant a powering it off and on again.

Your downstream power levels are a little out of what Virgin consider to be the acceptable range (-6 to +10), although some would argue that below -3 is unacceptable. Everything else looks OK to me.

I think it's worth giving VM a call and mentioning the reduction in speeds since your "upgrade" and the downstream power level issues. The alternative is to wait for a VM staff member to reply to you on here, but it can take quite a few days for them to get round to you.

Best of luck!

Re: i was quite happy with 75mb, but i'm not even getting 75 now with Vivid 100 [wired]

Hi xxamine

Really sorry to hear of the drop in speed. I've had a look into this and it appears there are some issues with SNR affecting your connection. The fault reference for this is F006558573 . It's estimated that the fault should be resolved by 4:30pm today. If you are still experiencing any issues after this time please let us know and we can look into it for you.
Kind regards,

Re: i was quite happy with 75mb, but i'm not even getting 75 now with Vivid 100 [wired]

You say "wired" is that by direct ethernet cable (pref. Cat6a) or via powerline adaptors and wires?  Has your device got a gigabit network card or 10/100 ?

--------------------
Services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Re: i was quite happy with 75mb, but i'm not even getting 75 now with Vivid 100 [wired]

Hi jbrennand

Thanks for your reply

The laptop [i5] is wired direct to the router, but there are powerline adaptors in the network.

i would say cat5e, judging by the length of time.

Card installed is a Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)

Hope that helps

Hi xxamine,

Thanks for getting in touch, I am sorry to see you have been having trouble with your connection.

I have taken a look and it seems you are affected by fault ref F006558573 for SNR and FECS. The current review date is 12/11/2018.

Please give this thread a bump closer to the time and we will get an update for you.

All the best

Emma
