gig1 slow upload

I just got the 1gig package using the new hub4, the download speed is what I am to expect between 800-950.

I'm on a wired connect, using the hub4 in modem mode.

I've noticed that the upload speed during the day can be anywhere between the 50-55 that I should be getting, or as low as 15mbit, while the download speed is still flying along at over 900mbit.

I've contacted VM using their online support 3 times, but each time they take over 24 hours to get back to me (which I understand), but the last time they asked me to reboot the modem, and before I even reached to do it, the internet went off and it was rebooting already.  When it came back, the upload speed was still low :

I did notice that one of the 4 upstream channels is at 32QAM but even when they were all at 64QAM the upload speed was still low and in the 20-30mbit range.

 

I also noticed that when doing the speed tests I would get very high pings :

Several of your Downstream Power Levels are too high.

This will need an engineer to put right.

You can either call in (08:00 is the best time) or wait on here for a few days (6 to 7 days average) until one of the VM Forum Staff comes along.

If you wait on here Do Not bump the thread it will put it further down the VM 'to do list'.
