gig1 setup in modem mode - onkly getting 700mb

another post on this issue

hub had an update and I can access 192.168.100.1 again, not sure it will stay that way

but noticed this in the settings and reports

how many channels should we get in docis 3.1 seems im still using a lot of docis3.0 channels

Most operators have just one 3.1 channel at this time. A single channel can be up to 192 MHz wide and can be more powerful than all the 3.0 channels combined. Current chipsets only support two 3.1 channels in each direction.

It's DOCSIS 3.1 for downstream but still 3.0 for upstream, it's feasible as 3.1 is backward compatible with 3.0.
