When Is An Upgrade Applied?

Hello,

So on 23 Nov I upgraded all my VM services.  Part of this was to upgrade from M350 to M500.

My SH3 is still showing my old config/settings for M350

I know my upload will not increase but when I can I expect my download/SH3 config to change?

I've done some reboots etc on the SH3 with no change from what I can see.

If it's a volt upgrade - it can take 14 days!

Nope not a Volt upgrade.  My new package is called the "Bigger bundle"

 

Ooooh - they normally go through very quickly!

Thanks again, will wait for a mod as when I called up they thought woudl only kick in on the next monthly bill, which sounds a little odd to me.

Hi @FlashPan 

If it isn't a Volt upgrade then they are usually actioned immediately if done over the phone, if online it usually takes a few days.

Your picture confirms the speed hasn't been increased.

Has you online contract been updated to show the M500 broadband? 

You can check by logging into My Virgin Media at the top of the page.

As far as I know you only need to wait for your next billing date for downgrades to be applied, not .upgrades 

You could call up and ask VM to send the new configuration to your hub (go through Retentions - thinking of leaving us) or wait a couple of days for Forum Staff to pick this up.

Yep my new contract shows M500 but on the main splash/landing page "my package" is still showing M350

Will wait for a mod, as will not have much time at the mo to call in during the day.

All sorted.  Had som etime and called in, the upgrade was sent down to the SH3
