Volt M200 Upgrade

Hello,

I was previously on M100 Broadband. No problems there, it's very stable. I have just upgraded to Volt M200. I was advised it had been done yesterday and, indeed, my account shows Volt M200 as my broadband package.

However, I am still only getting 100meg. I have restarted my router too.

Here are the service flow stats

Looks like your HUB hasn't received a new config file as yet.

That's what I figured. I was hoping someone could tell me how long it takes for the config to come down.

Usually at the point your new contract starts.

Are you getting a new HUB aswell?

Not that I know of. Oh well, just wait and see I guess. My account says I'm on M200 so I thought the config would have been done at the same time.

Any Virgin Media people around to assist please?

Thanks.

This is crazy. Just got the config pushed down to my router and I get lower speeds than I did on M100.

M100 was a solid 100+ meg all the time.

Upgrade to Volt M200 and it's dropped to between 70 and 90 meg.

Your power levels are too high and will need adjusting with a either an engineer visit or one of these:

carl_pearce_0-1635789462000.jpeg

All sorted. Switched absolutely everything off for a few minutes. Then switched on Router, Switch and then devices.

Now getting max speeds.

I've added an attenuator for good measure but not needed it before.

Thanks.

Fair enough.

Your power levels should be between -6 and +10dBmV.

Not sure what they are now?
