Upgraded from 100 to 200 no difference

Tuning in

Received confirmation email today saying upgrade complete from 100 to 200 mb. Ran speed test was getting around 111 MB same as before. Turned off router for several minutes back on speed test still 111 MB. Went onto My Virgin Media which has a message saying your speed boost is complete your connection speed is now up to 100 MB.

So it looks like upgraded from 100 to 100 MB. I am presuming this is a human error.

Router showing: Acquired Downstream Channel (Hz)138750000

So as can imagine not very happy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sean

To check if it has been applied, log into the hub settings and look for the "configuration data" page.

look in the Up/Down, "Max Data Transfer rate" boxes - what numbers are in there?

On 100 - they will be = 1xxxxxx..
On 200 - they will be = 2xxxxxx...

Both are in bps and not mbps

Yep...

Max Traffic Rate 117000047 = 117mbps - i.e you are still on the 100 package.

Try switching the Hub off and unplugging for 5' - switch it on and leave for 5 minutes and look back in and see if it has upgraded.

If not you will have to call in and ask why its not been done.
