Top internet speed but Ethernet only sending 80mps

Help please ! Just moved things about and have plugged a cat5 decent cable into the desktop (it’s not a really long cable 5m) and we are only getting 80mps through it . 
have read other posts on here and we have checked network card settings ! 
can anyone help please as our family WiFi is 580 and cabled 80

Ignore this ! I can’t seem to delete . Have bought a better cable 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, a good Cat 6a cable should suffice.  No point in spending more money on a higher spec. cable
