Sudden speed drop after cancellation

Superfast

Coincidence or what, but Sam Knows has always reported 945 down on my 1 gig service, router in modem mode, but I've just given 30 days notice and speed now down to 600 to 620 for the last few days

Ookla speedtest still reporting 940 down 52 up?

Any ideas?

So it is working perfectly - time to crack on with useful work that does not use a fraction of that !

So why is Sam Knows reporting much slower?

What Hub model (or your own router) is it - and are you resting on wifi or an ethernet cable connection?

Does it matter? your cancelling so a test is not that important to you and Ookla shows fine so...

Not really, but wondered if anyone else getting slow results from Sam knows

Hi there johndm,

Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.

Can I ask regarding this matter, are the speeds depleted in router mode?

Let us know,

Kain

Hi @superloopy

Thanks for your response

Can you test the speeds via speedtest.net when in router mode? Let us know how you get on and we'll investigate further if needs be

Regards
