Sudden Packet Loss?

Hi all,

I'm suddenly getting broadband drop outs, on closer inspection there's massive packet drops.

I'll give the customer service people a call but fear I won't get far.  Any suggestions?

Re: Sudden Packet Loss?

There's a bug with the Hub 3 which causes it to randomly stop responding to the ThinkBroadband graph, showing as 100% packet loss.

However if your connection was really suffering 100% packet loss it would be completely dead, and you wouldn't have any internet access at all.

The graph is a red herring in this case and best disregarded, but you might want to post your modem stats and network logs, to help determine the cause of your separate drop outs problem.

Re: Sudden Packet Loss?

IC - so turned off the firewall on the router and Ping returned to normal.  So Red Herring!

Router however is still rebooting with no obvious pattern..
