Speed upgrade haas halved my speed!

I opted to pay for an upgrade from 350mb to 500mb - I had email to say it was successful and i hadnt noticed any change in the last couple of days - I was getting 386-88mb download previously and 36mb upload - - i was still getting the same till today - I rebooted the modem to see if this would change anything and it did! it reduced the download to just over 200mb! extremely dissapointing..so i am now paying more for nearly half the speed! - what can be done about this?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

this morning its back to the 386 up and 36 down - no sign of the 500mb I am paying for

its now sorted - took a call to the customer service number - some automation then rebooted my modem and it came back with 552 down and 40 up
