Speed upgrade a waste of space

When on VIVID300 the max speed was around 250,  Now on VIVID350 and nothing is better

http://www.speedtest.net/results?sh=8ed105b5c36fbced4b9c2c9b3a347dcf

What sort of scam are VM running?  High quality system with CAT6. I&, 32GB memory.  No reason for slow throughput!!!!!!

Hello Sland,

Thanks for getting in touch Smiley Happy

Sorry for the slow speeds. I've just tested your network and I can't find any errors from our end at the moment. Does Modem Mode make any difference to the performance?

Speak soon,

Take care.

Re: Speed upgrade a waste of space

I too have received the speed upgrade, supposedly have up to 350mb, these were my results at 6am, so not exactly peak time and I only achieved thisFD68ECBA-5CC5-4D74-B171-B4DE75B3E40F.png

Post a wired speed test and people may look into it for you. Wireless is its own kettle of fish and you are likely already at the limit your your wireless environment / hardware.

Try the DSLReports speedtest instead.
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest

I find it gives better results than speedtest.net and also gives more information.

Re: Speed upgrade a waste of space

Hi Shafreya, in some ways I agree with you about wireless connections etc, however prior to switching from Vivid200 to Vivid300 then 350, I was regularly achieving 200mbs + on the wireless connection.

it seems that I have lost some performance when changing over to the superhub 3 and vivid300.

Again, show me wired results and i will listen.

You don't know whats happened in your wireless environment, and you admit its changed with the different hub.

Without wired tests to back you up, you can't make claims that you are not receiving the speeds to your house.

Hi Shafreya,

i manged to run a wired and wireless test this morning, within a minute of each other and the wireless result is far better this morning, and not too dissimilar to the wired result, see the pics below
