Speed Issues

Hello Team

Been having problems with my speed, I am currently on 150mbs and at this point in time and for the last few week pretty lucky to maintain 100mbs. Here are my config files.

After further looking around can see the following fault ref F004848757 and with a review date of 8th March 2017, has this been resolved.

Sorry you are having problems with slow speed at times, as you say mention I can confirm you are affected by area issues F004848757, this has not been resolved yet, the current review date is showing as 12 JUL 2017. You have got to love how they keep pulling these so called review dates out of a hat especially when you know nothing will be done to fix the issue I have now had 12 review dates in the last 2 years and 3 months so please be prepared to simply get another one each time.

Also make sure you are getting credits to your account for the inconvenience of suffering low peak time speeds.

Thanks for posting back here.

 

I've taken a look at the fault ticket, there has been work completed which has seen you move onto a different cable and the traffic is now running low, which is good.

 

Have you noticed an improvement with the broadband speeds at all?

Yes Sam I now manage to peak at around 165mbs so after all the time of very low speeds finally gettings what I pay for.
