Had second engineer come out and did find a fault with the broadband, was something to do with a connection on the broadband box coming into the house and was restricting the speed into the house, touchwood seems all good at the moment

However I am still getting an error when I log into the router and do a test? Any ideas?

The first engineer didn’t have the diagnostic tools?

How was he going to test it?! Sniff it? Poke it with a stick?

Forget the stupid hub diagnostic, it’s totally useless. Back when I was getting 40% constant packet loss and there was a fault showing on the status page it still said, “every thing is great!”.

Talking with my cat would yield more accurate information on my network status.

So after the engineer seeming to have fixed issue and speed to the router being 1gb the speed seems to have dropped again! Please please any help.........

Hi gingermoonman,

Thank you for your post. I can see my colleague has already responded on another thread.

We do recommend keeping all information to one thread so that all updates are in 1 location.

Will do, has anyone on the forum got an idea what could be wrong with my speed to the hub?
