Slow wireless speeds Superhub 3

Hi there,

I've just been 'upgraded' to 350Mb service and have noticed no improvement in wireless speeds.

In fact, most family members indicate that the service provided has got worse.

The latest Speedtest (via Wifi) is as follows:

 PING ms

17

DOWNLOAD Mbps
18.00

UPLOAD Mbps
20.09

The Sh3 is in Modem mode, with a Netgear Nighthawk X4S providing the wireless.  This was not a cheap router (cost around £145).

I have already disconnected/powered off the Superhub 3 but this has had no effect.

The only device connected to the internet via Ethernet is a new Sony Bravia smart TV, and again Netflix and Amazon Prime Video services on this TV both suffer intermittent 'stuttering'.

All other devices are wireless.  Includes Sonos system and a couple of new laptops.

Logs etc from the Router Status page follow this post.

Re: Slow wireless speeds Superhub 3

Hi GeoffAllen65mm,

Welcome to the forums, I am sorry to see you have been having trouble with your connection.

I have taken a look and your upstream power levels are too high. I would like to get an engineer out to take a look at this for you.

I will pop you a Pm to get this arranged. Keep an eye out for the Purple Envelope top right hand corner.

Speak to you soon.

Emma

Re: Slow wireless speeds Superhub 3

Emma,

Engineer has been and sorted out power level issues.

Am now getting 350+ wireless rates on both laptop and mobile phone (P20 Pro).

Thanks for your help in resolving.

Geoff
