Slow upload speed

hd3
On our wavelength

On a M200 package but get upload speeds of <4Mbps consistently throughout the day. Download speeds typically almost always hitting 200 Mbps.

It's been consistently slow on upload for almost a year. Occasionally I'll get 20 Mbps.

I've called VM a few times and followed the full reset on router procedure but it hasn't changed anything.

Any help appreciated.

Another big day today with the fix date of May 11th 12pm.

So far its been 26th Feb, 10th March, 24th March, April 6th, April 12th and April 27th.

UPDATE: I took up a recent offer of a new Virgin Media Hub 4 (previous was Hub 3) which I installed yesterday. I'll post the stats below but I did notice on the Upstream Channel 4 the modulation was set to 16 QAM. Is that an issue?

Current speedtest on wired connection is 170 down and 5 up.

Thanks for the update hd3, apologies for the delays, sometimes the issues are more complex and require more work than originally anticipated which can delay the estimated fix time provided via our Service Status page.

It can take a couple of hours for the page to be updated but let us know how this goes after the estimated fix date and time.

Current speeds: 170 download and 4 upload.

I'm assuming the fix didn't happen and has been moved again. Is that the case?

Sorry to advise this hd3, the ticket F008611099  is still open with the fix date pushed back to 25th May at 12pm. The engineers are working hard to fully resolve this as soon as possible.
