Slow speed on VIVID 152 (Bracknell Area)

I've been noticing the speed of my VIVID 152 Optical Fibre is very slow - in fact ookla speed tests shows 11ms ping, but 5.22Mbps down and 11.16Mbps up. I've looked everywhere online and am not able to find any place to raise a ticket in order for an engineer to check it.

I've done the usual thing of restarting the hub and seems to work the same even after a full reset.

I remember last time it helped to post:

I don't really have any issues in the logs but the speed has been dismal for the last 2 weeks or so. I was hoping it would sort itself out but seems to be stuck on 5Mbps any time of day/night.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction please? Not really sure why I'm paying £60+ for 5Mbps!!

Thanks,

Frank

Re: Slow speed on VIVID 152 (Bracknell Area)

In answer to your first point, to report a fault you call 150 and go through the menu to speak to Support.

The low speed suggests you might be connected by WiFi. If you are measuring with a wired connection then there is certainly something wrong.

Looking at your stats, although they are not complete it looks as if the download is satisfactory but there if something amiss with the upload. The Support staff can check this online.

Re: Slow speed on VIVID 152 (Bracknell Area)

Thanks, I found a number and called it (I don't have virgin mobile or use my phone line). Once I got this it was pretty easy to raise a fault. I'm hoping they can resolve today/tomorrow.
