Slow speed in Oxfordshire

I have a Vivid 100 account but am not getting anywhere near 100 Mbps.

With anti-virus and Malwarebytes Premium switched off, running Cat5e Ethernet cables I'm only getting a little above half the speed I'd expect.    My connection has never been up there near the top end of what I'm promised but I used to be able to nudge 68 to 75 Mbps sometimes.

I have a 'Super Hub' if that makes any difference.,

Anysuggestions?

Hi @StrangelySane

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your broadband speed, would you mind going to: https://192.168.0.1 and click on router status and take a screenshot of the downstream/upstream power level pages?

I wondered if the router has become faulty -  it only puts out the 2G connection these days - it used to also put out 5G.

Re: Slow speed in Oxfordshire

Since posting above details I've tried resetting my Super Hub 2 router via the reset button on the back.

Still no noticeable improvement.  Still can't hook up to 5G wireless.
Tried to check the stats again but the address is inaccessible https://192.168.0.1

Re: Slow speed in Oxfordshire

It seems as though it could be the router that's the issue, I'd recommend to ring up and get a new one ordered to see if that makes any differences.
