Slow internet speed - Broadband Service problem

Hi Guys,

I really upgraded my package to vivid 350 and the hub 3.0.

 

My old internet spees averaged at about 100mb. When i first installed the new hub and activated the new page, my internet speed had more than double. Couple weeks later and I am now only getting 40-50mb with connection issues.

I ran the network diagnostics which stated that my home network had a few problems in regards to the broadband service check but then offers no guidance as to what the problem is or how to remedy this. What devices are you using to see that speed, and how are they connected to the Hub?

I've used my phone over Wi-Fi and my laptop with Ethernet to double check

You could post the Hub's log and signal levels here for checking. But if you are getting those speed figures with an up to date laptop and good quality ethernet cable it will probably mean getting an engineer in. Have you called customer services to report the problem?

Reset everything up with the hub 3 and split the 2.4ghz and 5ghz up. Through Ethernet I get speeds up to 320mb but over wireless I cant seem to get anything more than 20-40mb. Searched and searched and follows various tips but it seems that the hub 3 is common to have terrible wireless 😤
