Slow download speeds

Done several speed checks range from 25 to 35 off peak should be getting 100 ! Used to reach above 100 sometimes mid 2021 . The whole estate in December kept getting  down time now receiving slower speeds

How are you checking speeds - over wifi or over ethernet cable?

On what make/model of devices?

And at which speedtest website?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Hi Michael, welcome to the community! Thank you for posting. 

Sorry to hear you are having speed issues. Having had a look on our systems I can see the speeds coming into your hub are averaging 110mbps Download speed, and 9.95 Upload speed over the last month. There are no disconnections registering, and we are also not picking up and upstream or downstream signal level issues that would be affecting the signal coming into your home that require a technician to fix. 

Are you able to advise how you have been running your speed tests? (Over WIFI or ethernet, to which device and which site). We recommend using speedtest.net

If you could also Can you post your Hub status and logs. Here are steps on how to do this;
• Please go to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode)

• Don't log in, click on 'router status'
• Copy/paste the data from each of the tabs as text into a 'REPLY' as opposed to 'QUICK REPLY'. Please do not include your MAC address.
Also, set up a 'Broadband Quality Monitor'. This will monitor the state of your connection and record any network dropouts etc https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality)
Give it a while to gather data and then click 'Share Live graph' and paste the 'Direct Link' into the forum

 

Once we have this extra information we will be able to offer you the further support you need!

network log as requested - speed test done on speedtest.net  and speed test master-lite both gave similar readings. Done over wifi

status report will be on 2nd email as it had too many characters when sent all together

Hi @MichaelF62

Thank you very much for provided that information. You mentioned that the speeds you were taking were via WIFI, if possible can you run a wired speed test and post your results. I have checked our system again and can see no issues with your power levels or any SNR issues. There is are some traffic spikes, but not enough to class as an outage which could be affecting your  WIFI speeds at those times.  

The link you posted for you BQM takes me to the log in page rather than the graph. If you'd like to repost the link to your BQM we can take a look at this to investigate further.
