Slow and unreliable broadband

Hi all,

I’ve been having issues with my broadband ever since I moved into my flat. About twice a week it will go down, and every night at about 1am there is a short outage.

At all other times it’s very patchy. Websites hang, videos buffer and this is supposed to be a 100mb connection. Right now I’m trying to watch YouTube and it’s juddering every few seconds.

My broadband quality monitor can be seen here:

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality/share/d8b4f90c1ea3468a6f06fd8cd3546832750473b1

Any suggestions? Not that good at interpreting these results so would appreciate opinions.

Thanks,

Kevin

That BQM is terrible with a lot of packet loss (red fringing at the top). so somthing is badly wrong.  Can you check all the connections are finger tight?

Also post the power levels, Pre and PostRS errors, and network log from the Hub for comment.

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as well.

You can phone the fault in or wait here a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up.

There you go; I thinking that’s what you asked for?
I’ve been in touch with a mod on this already but he was not helpful.

Thank you,

Kevin

Your power levels need sorted. US is too high and DS is too low. They are both on the limit and need a technician to sort out.

FYI DS levels are -6 to +10 and US levels are 34 to 51.

It seems to be ok today but it won’t be for long, have you looked at my quality monitor? It’s shocking.
