Hi, I've been searching the form for the last while to find out why my internet upload and download are so slow. I can't seem to find a direct answer to my problem on the form so maybe I'd just post it.
Here's some of my details below.
Connected through Ethernet and tried other Ethernet cables and still very slow.
Hub stats look ok - RS error counts are high but these may be historical accumulation if the Hub hasnt been rebooted for a while. So switch it off for 5' then start up and check they have reset to 0 and check every few hours for a few days to see if they reappear.
Can you also post up the network logs
Then do speedtests again this way - If you expect >100Mbps then connect a 1GB enabled computer/laptop, with up to date drivers, via a known good and working Cat5e (or better) ethernet cable, directly to the Hub which you have put into “modem mode”. Test at speedtest.net (not the App!) to your nearest VM server - try on 2 different browsers.
If they are still low – boot the device into safe+networking mode and try again. There are many posts on here where unknown software, corrupted browsers or other connected devices are limiting speeds on tests.
Report back what that gets.
