Slow Download speed when gaming

I've got a strange issue with my connection.

If I'm playing games (like cod) or have a discord channel open my download speed is about 200mbs.

as soon as I close cod (or any other game) or discord speed instantly jumps back to 550mbs..

Is QoS operating somewhere in your equipment chain

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

No I have checked all the QOS settings I can find. I'm directly connected to the router with a cat6 cable. The PC isn't poor either its a high end 12900k setup.

I didn't get this on my previous sky connection..  

If you can point in the direction of any other QOS options as this was my first thought..

What Hub model is it? Is it in normal router mode - or do you have your own?

What PC is it - a Dell perhaps that is running SmaertByte?

It's the Hub 4 in normal router mode.. No it's one I built myself (very high end custom system)

Thanks for posting, and sorry to hear you're having some issues with your connection.

 

I've had a look at things from our side and can see a few of the hubs levels are out of specification. So I can get a few more details from you I've popped you over a private message (purple envelope, top right hand corner)
