Serious Bandwidth Problems!

I have just begun a new contract with VM, and downgraded my Broadband from Volt 1 gig to 300 to 400 Mbps.  I am having loads of error message come up from various PC/ iPad apps saying 'The bandwidth is too low for data streaming'  I also get 'bandwidth errors' on my TV with 'Now TV, Paramount+, et. I have just tested the speed with 'SamKnows' and it came up as 325 Mbps download and 23.3 Mbps upload.  Something very wrong here?  I want some answers from VM, Please.

Maybe I am jumping to conclusions here. It could be server problems?  Coincidental that I am having problems from various servers?  Especially since I just started the new contract and the speed downgrade?  I am not the most technically minded, and find it hard to believe that there are bandwidth problems with speeds of between 325 and 400 Mbps?  Coincidence?

It does sound like a glitch.

To stream a film on Netflix at 1080p we typically see a data rates below 6 Mb/s.

Hi @Lionhart127 thanks for your post here in the Community although we're sorry to hear of the concerns you've raised here.

We've ran checks on the line and our diagnostics have not identified any issues, so we must conclude and agree that it is a glitch causing the issues you're experiencing.

We'd advise making sure your apps are all up to date in terms of their software and advising if you're having any further issues going forwards.

Many thanks
