Same problems, no solution - packet loss and lag

RJMD

Hi,

My Gig connection is once again behaving poorly, with random packet loss and intermittent periods of zero traffic then suddenly springs back to life. Can someone have a look again please?

Here's my BQM report again...

Hi RJMD, thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.

Sorry to hear your issues with packet loss and lagging have re-surfaced.  I would like to take a closer look on your behalf.  I am going to send you a private message.  Please look out for the purple envelope in the top right of your screen.

Regards

Lee_R

Hi Lee,

Same problems again today - random lagging and packet loss. Trying to connect to a virtual desktop session and the performance is so laggy as to be unusable at times.

Why is this such an ongoing issue?  Paying the amount I do each month for your services surely entitles me to a service that is fit for purpose!

What speed package are you not?

Do a download from here
https://proof.ovh.net/files/1Gb.dat
copy and pates the file 4 times
make a note of the time check BQM for packet loss then upload them files here
https://ufile.io/

If you get packet loss set ethernet link to 10Mb and upload two files
