title really, got super hub 4 and upgraded to 1gig internet and getting 90Mbs speeds when I put it in modem mode, Modem mode is required as the WIFI signal doesnt reach my whole house. good service and set up I got (sarcasm)

I use an ASUS GT-AC5300 router set up with AI Mesh which was working fine on my old 350Mbs internet.

Looks to be a bug with the hub 4 short team fix is to unplug and replug the Ethernet cable to the hub.

What you could try on a theory is on your router with QoS/BWM is set download to 800Mb and see if that fixes it after another replug the Ethernet cable.

Made it worse XD

I really cant believe they are selling this crap to people with such a blatant bug, 3 days since its been in and ive not had 1Gbps since i first changed it over to modem mode, complained on the phone and they reset my hub, yay double NAT.

If you have a laptop or PC, connect direct to the Hub in modem mode, preferably with a Cat 6a cable and run a speed test,

I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media. Learn more

This is a pointless venture, If I do this, the bug will be temporarily fixed and I will get full speed. This test I have posted is from the router plugged directly into the hub there is nothing in between. I cannot sit with my laptop plugged in until it decides to happen again just to prove a point either as I have work to do, my wife has work to do and I have two teenagers who have online college classes to attend.

Fact is I should not be paying for this disaster of a set up, and should be compensated for the fact my wife is leaving to go sit in a coffee shop to work instead of being able to work at home because of Virgin Media and their terrible service.

To note however I was monitoring my connection this morning and at 09:24am my WAN port stated it was disconnected after it came back I had terrible speeds again.

I'm honestly on the verge of cancelling my Virgin Package as I cannot justify the cost of this absolute nonsense
