Have switched back to ExpressVPN. Got to say at least NordVPN were nice enough to refund me despite me being about 40 days into the contract. For some reason Windows and NordVPN couldn't get above 2 Mb/s on downloads for me.

You earlier said you could not get above a certain speed with or without a VPN, now its down to Nordic?

The issue initially was with Windows 10 limiting my speeds (see post above relating to auto-tuning levels).

Once the speeds without a VPN were sorted it transpired that my VPN speeds were super slow. This eventually boiled down to NordVPN - I am not saying this is a universal issue. On my MBP my speeds were about 10 Mb/s with Nord but never really above 2 Mb/s especially with torrents. ExpressVPN does not have this issue..allowing me to download at about 15 Mb/s.
