Can the team have a look at my speed as it slows down and have had a few random drop outs during the day and night. Power levels seem to drop on the downstream and increase on the upstream during a 24 hour period.

I am sorry to hear you're still experiencing some issues with the connection. 

 

I've been through checks from our side, and no issues have been found. It is asking however if you can perform a pin hole reset of the hub.

 

If you can please do this and let me know how the connection is afterwards.

Are you seeing a 10 dB swing in power levels both upstream and downstream? That says something is not right somewhere.

We have checked the network for any issues on the network side of things,  we have also checked the upstream and downstream channels and they are also within spec.

From my last post around a month ago still the same problems are happening and i cant belive they are also within spec. Its been months and still cant get the internet fixed.

Thanks for coming back to us about your issue. I have looked into this for you further, and I cannot see any system issues. All power levels are within specification.

 

Would you be able to complete a Hub reset to see if this improves your connection? 

 

I can see that you got in touch with our team via call a little earlier. How did your call go? What did the agent advise?

I dont know what good resetting the hub will do as i have done this many times since April. The agent just advised i need another visit by an engineer this would be the forth visit.

The box up the road that i am connected to has no cover over the front with cables showing and exposed to the weather perhaps this is the issue, but that has been like that for a long time without been fixed or a simple cover placed over it until it can be fixed correctly. The last engineer picked this up and said he was going to report this and that still has not been fixed.

Would you be able to attach an image of this cabinet? I will be able to have this reported to the dedicated team and they will be able to send someone out as soon as possible. Apologies that this has not been resolved.

 

Resetting the Hub is always a good thing to do if you're experiencing issues again. This can clear any problems on the line. Please give this a go and let me know how you're getting on.
