I am getting intermittent speed issues that are preventing me from working from home.
I have been troubleshooting my network (wifi, router, ethernet cables, laptops, etc.) for the past few weeks.
My VM router is now in modem mode connected directly to a Netgear R7000 and I have a hardwired Linksys Velop mesh across the house - my local network isn't the issue and everything is now pointing to the VM router or connection.
I have done a troubleshoot on all of my network devices
VM 'Run Test' says that there are no issues
From a wired connection I am getting 0.18 Mbps down and 0.17 Mbps up
Speeds have been fluctuating throughout the day, today is a bad day
Modem back into router mode, wifi turned off, all other ethernet cables disconnected (except for the laptop running the test)
10.5 down / 0.17 up
The down speed has improved since my original post, however, I believe that this is down the the intermittent nature of the problem - i.e. not due disconnecting everything else. My download speed used to 200Mbps and upload speed at least 20 Mbps!
Not quite what you asked for, but here is a speed test performed by the Netgear R7000 through it's settings interface.
110.33Mbps / 0.51Mbps
The R7000 is connected to the VM router which is in modem mode, and I have connected to the R7000 over wifi (laptop) and disabled all network traffic except for my browser using Glasswire from my laptop.
