Re: PO4 Very, very s-l-o-w ... for the 3rd time!

Hi Emma,

Thanks for getting back to me. Which fault has been fixed?

I have two open faults:

1.F006168329 for noise on the line (SNR and FECS)
2.F006071670 for over utilisation

There are clearly ongoing issues with my upload speed that are causing major problems with my connection (see speed test).

For info:

My SuperHub is always in modem mode because it's connected to an Apple AirPort Time Capsule.

All devices show same issue.

Ethernet cable is brand new, Cat 6. Problem is identical wired and wireless.

Computer is iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) — so capable of agreed speed.

Not sure what you mean by "Check wireless card slide".

Thanks.

Re: PO4 Very, very s-l-o-w ... for the 3rd time!

Hi JPL8,

Many thanks for getting back o me the fault F006168329 for SNR and FECS has been resolved.

The slow speeds fault is still open ref F006071670, the current review date is 13 JUN 2018.

I can still see some occasional FECS which may be causing an issue and your upstream power levels are a touch on the low side.

I would like to get an engineer out to take a look at this for you.

I will pop you a PM to get this arranged.

Keep am eye out for the Purple Envelope, top right hand corner.

Speak to you soon.

Emma

Thanks for arranging the engineer,  Emma. Whilst he was very thorough, professional and did his best to squeeze every last drop of speed out of my network, I don't think I've gained much (if anything) at all.

Hi JPL8,

Thanks for getting back in touch, I am sorry to see the engineer was not able to resolve the issue during non peak hours.

I have taken a look and fault ref F006071670 for slow speeds at peak times is ongoing the current review date is 11 JUL 2018.

I will pop you a PM to discuss this further.
