Re: Not getting the speed i pay for

How are you testing?

Mobile device 3 rooms from the HUB?

or device with a known Gigabit NIC wired directly to hub using a CAT5E cable or better?

Around 70 sounds like a Wi-Fi ceiling or a 10/100 NIC

Re: Not getting the speed i pay for

WiFI will vary according to conditions and PS4 speed-tests are notoriously ropey..

Do you have a laptop or something we KNOW has a Gigabit NIC you could connect to HUB using the same cable (cables sweet BTW Smiley Happy)

I'm not trying to defend VM, if you aint getting around headline speed, we need to know why- so test as above we can help you further.

Borrow a friend with a gigabit laptop in exchange for a cup of coffee.

Re: Not getting the speed i pay for

Exact same situation here. Tried using every possible device.

Only ethernet remains at stable full speed. Wifi is 25% speed at best and has been dropping completely for 20mins+ almost every 2 days for the last couple of months.

Why am I paying 48 pounds for a dysfunctional piece of gear when the only thing that's working properly is the ethernet socket?

Also this one is outrageous:

I was just told by the tech support that we can't get any discount if the internet outage is shorter than 24h straight. I really need someone from virgin this clear this one up for me please. So if we don't have internet connection half the time we should be still paying 48 pounds a month? This is NOT acceptable
