Not getting 1gig speed

Hi all, 

Im having trouble with my hub 4. Im on a 1gig package but I am only getting about 90mbps. I used to get close to 1gig for a while then it would drop right down. A simple restart of the hub would then bring it back up.

Now restarting the hub does not bring the speed back up, so its constantly at 90mbps. I have also reset the hub with a pin and have restored to factory defauts (in the virgin hub settings) but no luck.

Using Samknows i can see that to my hub 4 is 1100mbps but from my hub to devices is 90mbps.

 

Any help would be much appreciated 😀

Yes it is the same speed on ethernet and WiFi

OK. The next step is to to go to your Hub on 192.168.0.1.  Copy and paste on here, as text, the data from the Downstream, Upstream and Log files.

The upstream channels are not working as they should, and this can have an effect on the download speeds as well. 

You need a technician visit to sort this out. You could try phoning in, but it would probably be easier to wait for one of the forum staff to pick this up.
