New Gig1 Install but slow download speeds

New to the virgin network as this is the first house I have ever been in that's been in the reach of fibre networks.

Signed up to the gig1 service as big family always online, but the speeds are only ever 550mb download via wired connection. Any tips on what's wrong?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear of the low speeds. 

You've said you're testing via wired connection, can you advise of the devices used? Everything is looking fine on our systems, no issues our outages.
