Low upload G75 area

Hi,

 

Having trouble with low upload speeds. 

 

Downloads are over 200 meg but upload is only around 3 or 4.  It's usually around 20 meg. This is causing issues. 

Postcode is G75 8UT.  Service checker says no issues but it's been bad for 2 days now.  

 

I've done a few hard resets, checked cables etc, all the usual stuff. Tried wired and wireless. Using hub 3.  I've noticed a hub restart takes a lot longer these days and I just had an email a few days ago saying virgin have tweaked settings to make things better.  Seems to have made it worse as I had no problems before. 

 

Any advice on a fix VM?

Hi, everything was great but the issue has returned.

 

The engineer done a pinhole reset and replaced a connector outside somewhere and speeds were fine until today.  He did mention that the signal was close to out of spec but not actually out. Tonight the VM test says the same thing, interference on the cabling.   So I'm getting kicked from things for low speed again.

Thanks for posting. My apologies for the upload speed issues. 

 

I've ran a system check today and can see that until Monday, you had an SNR issue (signal to noise ratio) - this would have been the cause of it. 

 

This has now been resolved - has your upload speed returned?
