Less than half speed on 350MB - Nottinghamshire

Kolchak

Morning All! Is anyone else in the Nottinghamshire area having speed issues? It usually averages around the 350MB mark however at present it's around 130/140MB.

I've checked the Service Status which states that there are no issues.

Hi @Kolchak,

Welcome to our Community Help Forum 🙂

Sorry to hear you are experiencing sluggish speeds, what speed are you getting when you connect via ethernet cable? This will enable us to decipher if the issue lies with your WiFi or with the speeds being sent.

Have you tried calling our free automated Service Status line on 0800 561 0061 as this gets updated faster than the website?

I would also recommend taking a look at https://virg.in/SpeedUp for more information on how to improve your speeds.

Kind regards,

Serena

Hello Serena,

Thanks for the reply. I spoke to someone in technical support and they have started monitoring the connection. The speed is a lot better now, still not full whack but nearly there.

Hi Kilchak,

Thank you for your reply, glad to hear our technical team has helped and your speed is improving. I have located your account and can see there are some issues with your power levels that require a tech visit. I will pop you over a PM and we can get this looked into.
