Large amount of Post RS Errors

Evening all! So over the past couple of days, at random times, I've been having connection stability issues. As the title of this post states, I've been seeing a LARGE of amount of post RS errors listed on the Downstream status page of my SHUB2ac Unit

Ive had to reset my modem (which is in modem mode connected to an external Router) a couple of times, and this will help the issue, but it has come back a couple of times.

Posted below is the downstream, upstream, and network log, (the downstream and upstream stats are POST Reset)

(I shall update the post IF the issue occurs again)

Re: Large amount of Post RS Errors

Update. Issue still exsists. times is 17:31 GMT (Upstream and network log not posted as they are showing no change out of the norm)

But, as you can see, power levels on the downstream have changed.

Re: Large amount of Post RS Errors

Hi Sythen

I’m really sorry to hear of the issues you have been experiencing with your broadband service.
I've run a few checks on your connection and everything looks great with the hub. There are also no local area faults reported.
How are things looking now?
Kind regards

The power levels (up & downstream) are perfectly fine, SNR is also within spec. Could you check and confirm that all the coaxial connections within the property are at least finger-tight.

The errors indicate a form of intermittent noise on the line or maybe even faulty equipment, but the formerly is more likely.

Re: Large amount of Post RS Errors

Have you rebooted the hub?

Might be a internal fault with the hubs link

Multiple times, and the issue occurs at random.

But your speed hits 200Mb when you do a reboot?
