Just upgraded to hub 4

ChaosInCalm
Joining in

Upgraded from 200 to 1gig connection, was sent a hub 4.

Now getting horrendous speeds compared to hub 3.

Spoke to Virgin via twitter and they said call 150. Can't get through as when you press the talk to a human option it makes a weird noise, kinda like an engaged tone then goes silent.

This is what SamKnows is showing.

Any ideas?

If you look at the Hub's stats for the Downstream channels does it look like very few channels have connected or the Power / SNR figures are out of range ?

Yeah... That doesn't look great.

Check the signal cable is super tight on the back of the hub and at the wall.

What does the other big grid of the Downstream stats look like ?

There are a lot less errors now. The 3.1 Downstream power level is a bit low.

How does the speed test look now : https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/

If it is not good, check for local faults on 0800 561 0061 ( it is an automated service )

It's better but still nowhere what it should be.

Clearly a fault that needs to be called in for a repair.

Can we please see all the upstream figures, they are just as important.
