Re: Its been 24hs now and still getting 70mb on vivid 350

Did you ensure your Gigabit card is set for Auto negotiation

auto negotiation.PNG

The lights on the hub and the PC where the cat5e plugs into should be green showing that it's communicating

Blinking green on the hub shows it's communicating at high speed

Just to help others ..You can check to see if you have a Gigabit card in Device Manager

who has said 48 hours - if thats offshore then its more than likely a way of getting rid of you thinking something will happen

Re: Its been 24hs now and still getting 70mb on vivid 350

As Tony has said....  If you think that you have a BB speed problem, then to check the speeds coming in to your Hub properly, and whether they match what you should be getting, you need to do it this way first.
Make sure your device has a gigabit network card and has the up to date drivers. Use a new Cat5e/6a ethernet cable to connect it to the Hub - which you have put into modem mode (to ensure only your device is connected). Then, boot up your device into "safe mode with networking" (to disable any software on it that could be limiting speeds) and run the test at speedtest.net on 2 different browsers one of which is a fresh download of one you haven’t previously used (e.g. Firefox, Opera, etc).

Here are some reasons why.

Re: Its been 24hs now and still getting 70mb on vivid 350

theres still things that can be looked at here

just to confirm the speed is wired and wifi - have you done speed test in modem mode

have you done a rull reset on the hub - hold button a good 30 sec

post some levels

log into hub3 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - DON'T SIGN IN, click - click router status [centre of screen] - and post the downstream and upstream figures - to see those press on the grey buttons/boxes labeled - upstream - downstream

and what are they saying they will do or what do they expect to happen in 48 hours - nothing i would guess

Re: Its been 24hs now and still getting 70mb on vivid 350

Sometimes a new cable from the wall to the hub corrects it or an new attenuator fitted.

, as what happened to me a few years ago 👨🏻

Still both "amused"  and "confused" at looking at OP's continual reference to "mg" in an (alleged)  "wireless" engineers context?  Is this "mG"(auss) ELF/EMF,  milli/micrograms for his medication or just another "typo"?

enquiring minds etc.........?
