Issues with 1 GIG Service

Hi there

Upgraded my account from 500MB to 1GIG but the WiFi speeds only hitting 200MB to 300MB on devices. 

I have a fairly new laptop and I've connected up with the Ethernet cable and Sam Knows says I can only hit 230MB on the right hand side of the screen with the device results. 

Similar results with WiFi connection. 

Tried on mobile devices. Samsung and Xiaomi models. Both new models. Both showing near the same results at 300MB. 

Did all the reset actions to no avail. Had no previous issues with the Hub 3. 

Don't know if I'm doing something wrong. 

I'll post the stats underneath this message.

Yeah. About that. So it's ok then. 

I'll stick with that then.

The main issue people have with WiFi is there are so many standards, and you have to have a good connection on both sides to get good speeds.

Your laptop may have a specific standard of WiFi that limits the connection speed.

Thanks for the info Carl. Makes sense. Thought I was a WiFi expert but obviously not. 😁

Some devices have got higher speeds. As long I can stream in 4K Dolby Vision glory then I'm happy. 

I'll leave this as sorted. Thanks again.
